On Friday  we started work on the refurbishment of the toilets at the Scout Hut. For the next few weeks the Ladies toilet has been converted into a unisex toilet whilst work gets underway on the new Gents Toilet. Don't worry Ladies after we have finished work on the Gents we will be building you a nice new  Ladies Loo as well.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy New Year and hope that 2012 will be a good year for you.

2011 has been a good year for First Bedworth. I would like to thank everyone who has worked so hard during the year to make the Group so successful and enjoyable. I feel privileged to be able to work with such a great team of adults and youngsters with which 1st Bedworth is blessed.

I am excited about what 2012 has in store for 1st Bedworth. We have some great times ahead of us.

Merry Christmas Everyone

The last activities for 2011 have taken place and now it is time for everyone to take a well deserved break from their Scouting and enjoy the festivities with their friends and family.

I have just returned from Rough Close Scout Camp. Last night we held our annual adult leader’s meal in the Norton Cabin on the site. What a great night it was , great grub, good company  and a drink or two. Each year this event is one of the highlights of our adult social calendar and I always eagerly look forward to it.

Last weekend was another busy one. On Saturday Night two teams from Haddon Troop and two teams from Wilson Troop took part in the ‘Super Troop Challenge’ This is an annual competition between the two Troops which has been taking place for  five years and which has always been won by the girls of Haddon Troop.
